Grover Norquist, he is a native Massachusetts management strategist in Washington who holds the role in American Tax Reform. American for Tax reform or ATR is taxpayer advocacy group which he found in 1985 at President Reagan request. Grover Norquist has been taken part of the ATR which is a coalition taxpayer groups opposes the high tax at federal, state and local levels. Grover Norquist runs the ATR to oppose the high federal tax and realizes ATR mission by asking the candidates of the federal and state office to commit themselves in writing to oppose the all high increasing taxes.
Grover Norquist who also serves in many groups and institutions American Spectator Magazine, National Rifle Association of America, and American Society of Competitiveness also authored a book Rock the House and Leave Us Alone – Getting the Government’s Hands Off Our Money, Our Guns, Our Lives.
His credibility is proven by his past achievement in contributing a lot of efforts in various concerns. He was the commissioner on the Advisory Commission on Electronic Commerce and the executive director of National Taxpayers’ Union.
Grover Norquist achieved in ATR mission for Tax Protection Pledge and about the 112th Congress, 238 House members and 41 Senators have taken the pledge. In state level there are 13 governors and 1249 state legislators have been contributing in taking the pledge.
His occupation does not only take about the American issues about economy, taxes, and advocacy but Grover Norquist whose wife born in Muslim family is the co-founder of Islamic Free Market Institute. His influence does have the important role for running the mission to oppose the increasing tax and other tax advocacy sectors. Grover Norquist is influencing the nation politics as he is credible speakers and author who has high dedicated decision in critiquing the national issues. Grover Norquist also inspires some people by his quotes which are well-known among his fellows. Aslikely Arianna Huffington calls Grover Norquist “The dark wizard of the Right’s anti-tax cult”.
